Athlon Ares ETR GEN2 UHD 4.5-30x56 APLR12 FFP IR MOA Reticle

The glass clarity on this scope is a noticeable step up at dusk—I could still clearly see target details well after sunset. The zero stop on the turrets set up easily and has held firm through a couple hundred rounds.

The glass clarity is remarkable; I spotted a buck at 500 yards in fading light with no trouble. The exposed turrets have a positive, tactile click that makes dialing for elevation feel precise and repeatable. For the price, the optical performance and feature set are tough to beat.

Dialing in the turrets feels precise and tactile, exactly what I wanted for long range. The only minor gripe is the zero stop could be a bit more intuitive to set, but once it’s dialed, it holds true.
