Leupold VX-6HD Gen 2 2-12x42 (30mm) CDS-SZL2 Illum. FireDot Duplex

The 2-12x42 gives me such a wide field of view at 2x that I can track running coyotes without losing them, and the FireDot Duplex is bright but not distracting. It held zero perfectly after a 300-mile bumpy truck ride.

Dialed it in at dusk and the FireDot illumination made all the difference on a fast-moving buck. Glass is crystal clear edge to edge, and the low profile turrets track perfectly. This is the last scope I'll need on this rifle.

The wide field of view on this scope is a game-changer for tracking game through thick brush. I can pick up moving targets much faster than with my old scope, and the clarity is fantastic even in low light.
