The ED glass really pulls in the light—I spotted a hawk’s eye details from over 80 yards away. The center focus knob is smooth, and the rubber armor gives me a secure grip even with damp hands.

The rubber armor gives a sure grip even when my hands were wet from a sudden downpour, and the aluminum frame feels solid without being heavy. Focus ring turns smoothly, and those ED lenses stayed clear with no color fringing against bright sky.

Took these out for a dawn hike and the aluminum alloy frame felt incredibly solid in my hands. The ED glass really does cut through haze, giving me a sharp, crisp image of distant ridges even in low light.
