The machining on this stud is precise enough that it threads in without any wobble, which is exactly what I needed after losing the original. Took maybe two minutes to swap out and now the adapter's solid again.

The replacement stud fit perfectly into my adapter after the original one stripped out, and it locks in tight with no wobble. Honestly, I was expecting to have to fiddle with it, but it was a straight swap and the binoculars feel secure again.

The metal threads felt precise when I screwed it in, no wobble at all. Only wish it came with a tiny storage bag, but the fit is solid and does exactly what it needs to.
