ZEISS L55 Low-Profile Ball Head

The low profile design is exactly what I needed to keep my tripod compact while still getting smooth pan adjustments. It locks down tight with zero creep, even with a heavy telephoto lens attached. This ball head feels solid enough for years of use.

I was worried about how stable it would be with my heavier lens, but the low-profile design locks down tight with zero sag during panoramic shots.

The 90° adjustment range is perfect for getting those tricky low-angle shots without having to reposition the whole tripod. The whole thing feels rock solid under my heavier lens setup, and the locking mechanism is smooth and precise.
