PELICAN 1500 Schutzkoffer Schwarz mit Schaumstoff

I was hauling this case through a dusty job site and the automatic purge valve kept all the grit out of the interior—very reassuring for delicate gear. The latches click shut with a satisfyingly solid feel, and the whole thing is surprisingly easy to carry despite being built like a tank.

The foam inside is pre-scored into neat little squares, so I spent ten minutes plucking out the exact shape for my camera gear. The latches snap shut with a reassuring click and the whole thing feels solid enough to kick around. My lens came out of a bumpy flight completely unscathed.

I was genuinely worried about my gear on a bumpy flight, but the dense foam inside cradled everything perfectly and the case didn’t flex a millimeter. The build feels like it could take a tumble down stairs without a scratch, which is exactly what I needed.
