Cannocchiale da osservazione Nikon Prostaff 5 16-48x60 mm

Pulled this out of the box and took it to the backyard to watch a hawk circling overhead. The 16-48x magnification range let me follow it clearly without losing focus even as it swooped down. Feels solid and well-balanced on a tripod.

The clarity on the fully multicoated lenses is impressive even at 48x, and the wide field of view makes tracking birds feel effortless. It handled the harsh midday glare better than I expected, no color fringing at all.

Took this out on a cloudy morning and the fully multicoated lenses still delivered a crisp, bright image at 40x—impressed by how much light it pulls in. The focus ring is smooth enough to track birds without jitter, though the eyecup could twist a bit more easily. Solid buy for the price.
