Athlon Optics Midas BTR Red Dots Midas TSR2 Red Dot 50K Hour Battery Life

The MIDAS TSR2 is a red dot sight known for its speed and versatility in close-range engagements. It is commonly used by competitors running AR or PCC (Pistol Caliber Carbine) rifles, hunters, and those who prefer red dot optics on their pistols. The TSR series offers a range of features to enhance performance.

One notable feature of the TSR series is its impressive battery life, lasting up to 50,000 hours. This ensures that the sight remains operational for extended periods without requiring frequent battery changes. Additionally, the TSR series includes a motion sensor activation feature, allowing the sight to activate automatically when it detects movement. This ensures that the sight is always ready for use when needed.

By default, the TSR series comes with a high riser mount, which enables the user to achieve a 1/3 co-witness with iron sights on AR rifles. This means that when the red dot sight is mounted, the iron sights can still be utilized as a backup, and the red dot sits at a height that aligns with the iron sights. However, if desired, the high riser mount can be removed, and the sight can be mounted directly on low platforms such as shotguns using the lower mount.

In summary, the MIDAS TSR2 is a highly capable red dot sight suitable for a variety of applications, offering features such as long battery life, motion sensor activation, and adjustable mounting options for different firearms.
