The 68 MOA ring with a 1 MOA dot is our most popular reticle choice and offers three effective aiming points. The distances at which the aiming points can be used are calculated based on a specific load, namely .223 cal. 62 gr. 2,900 vel. If a shooter uses a different caliber or load, they will need to establish the associated ranges for the aiming points. However, if a shotgun is used, the 68 MOA ring can be utilized to represent the shot pattern, although this will vary based on the chosen shell and choke.
