Open country or in tall timber, precision and speed mean the difference between filling your freezer and tag soup. The Viper® HD 3000 laser rangefinder gives you the tools to act quickly and confidently, with a 3,000-yard max range and a stunning HD optical system that lets you pinpoint big game faster at distance. Four target modes (Normal, First, Last, ELR) and two ranging modes (LOS, HCD) mean you get the flexibility to range any shot on any hunt, making the Viper® HD 3000 perfect for the treestand and the mountains.

Whether you're hunting with a bow, a rifle or just long range shooting, having a precise distance to the target means more accurate (and more ethical) shots on target. Having a laser rangefinder like the Viper HD 3000 will give you just that.

Starting on the outside. It clocks in at just 9.1 Ounces. Having your rangefinder quickly and easily accessible in the field is very important. It has a utility clip on either side of the case to clip to your belt, gear, pack or whatever works best for you. The rear has lanyard loops for the included lanyards in the box.

The Viper HD 3000 uses a quick and easy 2 button setup which is very intuitive. There is a menu button up front to quickly scroll through all various settings to tailor it to your preferences. A quickly accessible measure button at the rear sends out the laser as well as our tool-less battery cap covering up where a CR123 battery makes it easy when you're out in the field for quick battery changes. Looking at the bottom of the range finder, you'll see a threaded portion that is threaded to accept any quarter 20 mounting solution : Most commonly used on top of tripods for folks who want to get that really sturdy base.

Eva ★★★★★

The glass is incredibly clear even in low light at dusk, and the ranging engine locks onto targets almost instantly. This gives me way more confidence when ranging bucks deep in heavy cover.

Daniel ★★★★★

The ranging updates so fast I can lock onto a buck mid-step and dial in before he clears the next tree line. Even through tall timber in overcast light, it grabbed the target without hunting around. This thing is going to save me tag soup more than once.

Ava C. ★★★★★

Crisp and clear glass, even in low light at dusk—the scan mode locks onto a buck at 287 yards instantly. The extended range on reflective targets is no joke, makes setting up for that long shot feel effortless. Exactly what I needed for open country.
